Behind the doors of a laboratory

Curtin Lab Tour

What an amazing lab tour we enjoyed on Wednesday afternoon 21 March 2018! We were privileged to get a rare glimpse behind the closed doors of a research lab, and to receive such competent insight into the research conducted at the Curtin Health Innovation Research Institute.

Dr Nina Tirnitz-Parker, Mr Frankie Gratte and the whole CHIRI team were truly inspiring and deserve a very big thank you. We sincerely hope their innovative work will lead to discoveries and one day to breakthroughs – even if it takes 10 years or more to come to fruition.

Spinnaker is very proud to have such passionate and dedicated researchers amongst its grant recipients. They are knowledge creators and front-runners who develop avenues for better preventions, assist in finding earlier diagnosis and improve treatments. We are blessed to have such champions amongst our community.

But all of this would not be possible without the generosity of our loyal donors and benefactors. Thank you if you are one of them. If not, I would like to invite you to consider donating to Spinnaker. Everything counts – big or small – but most importantly, it helps even more when it is regular.

Please visit our website to arrange your secure online donation.
By the way, using our online donation platform is secure and saver compared to sending us your credit card details.

I hope to welcome you again to one of our upcoming events. Please feel free to spread the word and to get your friends and family involved too.

 Best regards
