2020 Spinnaker Grant EOIs will be sought mid 2019.
The Spinnaker Health Research Foundation, formerly known as the Fremantle Hospital Medical Research Foundation, provides seed funding for health and medical research projects conducted in collaboration with the South Metropolitan Health Services (SMHS) / Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG) to benefit the broader local community. The Spinnaker Grants aim to foster a culture of research where Early Career Researchers are encouraged and nurtured to excel. Capacity building and research collaborations as well as research translation underpin the ethos of the Spinnaker Health Research Foundation. Spinnaker Grants assist researchers in becoming more competitive for national and international funding.
Funding for 2019
- Pool A: designated for Early Career Researchers (ECR) as defined by the Spinnaker Health Research Foundation
- Pool B: designated for all other researchers
